Joining Together to Worship, Inspire & Celebrate!
A night of entertaining dance, poetic art, and inspirational music! Doors open at 6:50pm and the show starts at 7:00pm. Late arrivals will be allowed in only between acts (to not interrupt performances).
This event is geared for families, and all are welcomed. There may be adult content, but it will be announced prior to each performance. This showcase is a mixture of amateur, semi-professional, and professional performers.
Our front entrance is in the alleyway, behind Stronghold, parallel to Voltaire. There is plenty of free street parking around the neighborhood on Chatsworth, Voltaire, and by the church and library. Early arrival is suggested.
Performers
Jennifer is an active member of the San Diego performing arts community, and is a singer, instrumentalist (piano/keys/hand percussion), teacher (voice, piano, and dance), and music director. Jennifer hails from Syracuse, NY, and has lived in San Diego since 2012. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from SUNY Fredonia.
Additionally, Jennifer owns and teaches First Saturday Dance, an independent dance class dedicated to making dance fun and accessible for all.

A company of collaborative dance artists who draw from many artistic genres in order to create magical, spirit-inspired works. We are trained in multiple styles of dance, and come from a diversity of backgrounds, and we have come together in our belief that dance is a sacred expression.
Dancers ages 5-11 will showcase their love of dance in these two short performances.

She is a singer, songwriter, and fashion designer who is passionate about sharing the experience of Love, Joy, and Freedom through fashion and music.

Kessa Caldwell is 23 year old dancer, and has been dancing for half her life in contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip hop. Creating hip hop choreography with elements of other genres of dance became her favorite past time.
Spellbound evoke the spirit of the crow and conjure the fates of men in this fusion belly dance inspired by The Morrigan triple goddess. Choreography by Amanda Olah
Cierra Tautimer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Performance from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. In pursuing her dance degree, she had the opportunity to study under Christina Schneider, Robbee Stafford, Rachel B. Johnson, Joshua Forbes, Chelsea Pirtle, Allison Pringle, Hope Ely, and Roman L. Jasinski. She has performed pre-professionally in the ORU Dance Concerts every semester of undergrad as well as performing professionally at the Exchange Choreography Festival in 2017.
Marcus Cruz is a self taught Dancer born and raised in San Diego. Was inspired growing up watching MTV music videos learning the choreography from the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears. It wasn’t until his later years he was able to branch out into the dance community. He has been affiliated with the DanceHouse for ten years now. Danced with their various companies over the decade along with back up dancing for the lovely Dynamite Doll for a few of those years.

A group of dance friends from college, dancing together for about 2-3 years off and on. A group filled with passion and love for dance. We love to fill the room with energy and also give a purpose to movement.
Jaami Waali has a Masters in Dance, owns The Dancehouse in San Diego, and has been dancing for over 35 years, and teaching for over 28 years. She absolutely loves teaching, choreographing, and dancing.
