A night of entertaining dance, poetic art, and inspirational music! Doors open at 6:50pm and the show starts at 7:00pm. Late arrivals will be allowed in only between acts (to not interrupt performances).
This event is geared for families, and all are welcomed. There may be adult content, but it will be announced prior to each performance. This showcase is a mixture of amateur, semi-professional, and professional performers.
Our front entrance is in the alleyway, behind Stronghold, parallel to Voltaire. There is plenty of free street parking around the neighborhood on Chatsworth, Voltaire, and by the church and library. Early arrival is suggested.
Andrea is a dance teacher with Dance to Evolve, where she teaches dance classes to children all over San Diego. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, Andrea has a BA in Dance and a BA in Music from Winthrop University in South Carolina. Since relocating to San Diego in 2014, Andrea has trained in modern dance with San Diego Dance Theater, Malashock Dance, and Disco Riot. She was a member of Bite Dance Company and Kruciaal Element prior to the pandemic, training in contemporary & hip hop.

A company of collaborative dance artists who draw from many artistic genres in order to create magical, spirit-inspired works. We are trained in multiple styles of dance, and come from a diversity of backgrounds, and we have come together in our belief that dance is a sacred expression.
Founded in 2018 and directed by two-time world champions, Ernesto Bulnes and Denisse Cambria. Irôko San Diego Franchise has been under the direction of Priscilla Barney for the last two years & is excited to continue growing the Iroko SD family for a third season beginning this coming Spring 2023. The Malone Academy of Irish Dance; a proud member of the San Diego Irish community. We offer classes for children through adults at all levels (beginner through open championship). At the Malone Academy, we strive for well rounded dance training and are currently in residence at The Dancehouse. Along with dance classes, our academy students participate in competitions and performances. Many of our dancers have traveled nationally and internationally to compete!
Michael Birmingham is a wellness facilitator and musician. He has been playing guitar since he was 13 and also spent many years studying voice, poetry drums, and other instrumentation. Michael fuses instrumentation and genres to create a soulful style that is uniquely his own.
Tane Ward is a multidisciplinary artist and author who writes poetry, nonfiction and fiction focused on mythology, mysticism, social justice and indigenous knowledge. His first book The Maze of Creation: An Alchemist's Guide to the Center was published in 2019 on Little Crow Press. He earned his PhD in Anthropology in 2014 from the University of Texas. Tane plays music and works as an equity consultant in Austin, Texas.
